PTP Software, part of IRIS Accountancy Practice Solutions, has
today announced the immediate availability of iXBRL-ready statutory
accounts production for its PTP software
customers.
HMRC has mandated that all company accounts and corporation tax
returns delivered on or after 1 April 2011, for accounting periods
ending on or after 1 April 2010 use the new iXBRL-tagging standard.
HMRC is urging companies to talk to their commercial software
provider or supplier to make sure that the product will meet their
needs and allow them to deliver fully compliant accounts and
returns.
PTP Accounts iXBRL edition can be used standalone or combined
with PTP Corporation Tax to ensure that customers have access to a
complete range of products that meet all their needs in order to
comply with HMRC’s requirements for iXBRL five months ahead of
mandation.
PTP Accounts uses the same proven iXBRL engine that has been
used across all IRIS & PTP Tax products since April, which when
combined have already been used to deliver over 100,000 Corporation
Tax returns by PTP & IRIS customers.
